JM100/Wonderland head cabinet dimensions
Hello all:
Does anyone have the overall L x W x H dimensions for the JM100/Wonderland head cabinet? I want to make sure I specify enough vertical height so as to keep the transformers far enough away from the reverb pan.
Thanks!

Re: JM100/Wonderland head cabinet dimensions
I can measure mine on Wednesday or Thursday if nobody responds sooner.

I can measure mine tomorrow when I'm back at the studio.
I did mine by eye at the time but it works fine.

The internal volume of the box is certainly important, including for good ventilation. But once I had to use a cabinet from a standard ODS to place Wonderland in it. Yes, it was very tight, but I didn't notice any problems with the feedback from the transformers to the reverb.
But if you need it, I can provide plans for a more suitable cabinet, which I made later, for another JM amp.

That's a beautiful amp! Very, very nice!alkuz1961 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 23, 2021 7:58 pm The internal volume of the box is certainly important, including for good ventilation. I was just wondering about the total height as I want to add a little extra distance between the transformers and reverb pan, although your OT looks quite close to the pan.

Indeed - absolutely beautiful.
Is that black tweed? How do you (or folk in general) apply their logo please? I have a chassis from Taylor to build shortly.

Tim that covering is black Carbon fibre effect tolex from Tube Town. I did my Princeton with it.

Re: JM100/Wonderland head cabinet dimensions
Excellent, thanks for taking the measurement, Marcus. I am using some extra fat transformers for my Wonderland build and just wanted to ensure I don't run into issues with noise induction in the reverb pan. Beautiful D'Angelico too, BTW!
Re: JM100/Wonderland head cabinet dimensions
Marcus is right on the money. I just opened up my UPS from Taylor. Height is 10.5 inches external and 9 inches internal. Let me know if you need anything else.

Awesome, thanks for checking that, Dan! That's what I needed to know. Much appreciated, gents. Case closed.

The two rock manual is where I found the measurements. https://www.two-rock.com/ownermanuals/trjmsmanual.pdf
Standard Two-Rock Sized Head (20.5”L x 11” H x 10.5” D)
Note, it's 11" wood-to-wood (not counting feet)
Good idea getting the pan far away. I had slight hum any closer with the large Ceriatone transformers the first time around I built one. Might be ok with stock twin transformers
Standard Two-Rock Sized Head (20.5”L x 11” H x 10.5” D)
Note, it's 11" wood-to-wood (not counting feet)

Sorry I didn't see your reply Ryan, until now. Thanks for confirming the dimensions. I am using oversized transformers and with an 11" head height, that leaves a little more than 1.5" between the output transformer and the reverb pan.rccolgan wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 3:33 pm The two rock manual is where I found the measurements. https://www.two-rock.com/ownermanuals/trjmsmanual.pdf

Hi Alexander (alkuz1961)
great job. Just out of curiosity, I noticed a pot on the top left of the amp labeled "boost". How does it work?
I also noticed a number of interesting differences from the JM / WONDERLAND / CERIATONE JM classic schemes such as the potentiometers and the switches on the effects out/in that suggest an internal "Dambulator" card. Also a series of switches at the rear of the amp "Dirty, Boost, Reverb"
These are all interesting changes and, if possible, I ask you to share them with the community.
Thank you
Franco

I was building this amplifier for my friend's studio, and at his request I made some additions.
It is known that JM used a Katana Clean booster. I have developed version of the PCB to be installed on the front panel. To turn on the booster, a relay is used, which is controlled by a switch on the back panel or footswitch. The booster gain control is combined with a pull-push potentiometer, as in the original Katana pedal, to control the middrange.
I also added a built-in dumbleator with all control pots, bright and bypass switches . And I added on the back panel feedback switches for the preamp stage and for the power amplifier, and the switch for reverb off relay
I hope all this will be clear from the illustrations
