As I'm not sure where I'll be shortly and i have no energy for build reports, I'll show you some pics n descriptions
Stereo preamp i made for the Ricish bass build. It looks like hell but works well.

Sorry, pics are mixed up.
This new amp is a testbed for experiments with KT type tubes.
I started with a JTM 45ish output circuit. KT-66's @ 340V cathode biased, no feedback, 4k OT with the 4 Ohm feeding an 8 Ohm spkr to reflect 8k to the plates. Switched to nos Philips 6L6GC's with 4 Ohm spkr to see tonal changes. Power too low as the cathode bias eats power so I upped to KT-88's at both impedances. 4 Ohm mildly louder than 8 Ohm, but 8 Ohm better. Initially tried the choke fed supply, with another cap/choke for the screen etc. but it dropped plate voltage to 260V. Reconfiged to C-L-L-C to get plates to 375V. Many component value changes / wiring routing options. So it looks like a refried abortion but sounds great.
2 stage 6SN7 input impedance match circuit-Bass-Treble-6SN7a-Mid-Vol-12DW7 FX loop-6SN7b-6SN7 PI-KT88 pair.

Here's the nearly finished bass for the stereo preamp.
