Just perusing the sold listings on Reverb when I stumbled upon this Dumble modded Fender Bandmaster. Can anyone confirm or deny the authenticity of this claim? The chassis serial is A10714 and matches the printed label on the inside. The amp also sold for $25,000...
If this is a real Dumble mod, can anyone elaborate on some of the modifications? I have read that ultraphonix modded amps were completely rebuilt using only the transformers but this appears to go against what some have said. I can see the board looks like nothing is original with the exception of a few resistors but there are only 3 capacitors that are not present in the stock 64 bandmaster. Can anyone explain what about this circuit is different from a typical bandmaster?
Lastly, if anyone has a Dumble modded Fender would you be willing to post photos of the chassis?

Here is a picture of a (mostly) stock 64 Bandmaster for comparison:

I think you need to spend some time using the search function and read up about all things Dumble.
Short answer is yes this is a real Dumble mod amp and there's a lot of things changed. The topology is similar to the stock amp but many values are completely different, just looking at a picture you could be forgiven not much has changed
