#183 Build completed

Post by Abe5150 »

Thanks everyone for helping me out with this. It amazes me that a diy er like myself can build a working amp much less an ODS. This site really is amazing. This is my 2nd ODS build my first being a #102, this one has a great master volume you can really get a good overdrive sound at a low volume. I used the on-off-on for the RJ switch and there’s seems to be a slightly different sound in the off setting then with the back panel/foot switch for the PAB. On a side note I shocked myself by placing my thumb on the two terminals of the standby switch while the amp was on, I went to put amp in standby and I thought my thumb was resting on the lip of the chassis but it wasn’t, you kind of don’t notice it a first then it hits you. It actually wasn’t that bad.

Looks really good. Nice and clean! I like the precision power supply board too.
