What a nice looking build. Kudos to Mike!

How are you digging it with the EV? What are the dimensions on your Zilla cab? What guitar(s) are you playing through it?

I have a similar amp but cant make it work with EVM12 speakers. EV's work best in SS rectified , powerful , fast amps IMHO. I've settled on an Celestion Alnico cream with it :D I've also put the original 6V6's back in too (use JJ's as the voltage is high) on balance it was designed around 6V6's and works great with them. I had 6L6's for a year :D

Mike's a great bloke and a great resource for us UK builders.

Very Nice looking amp. Sorry I've been somewhat out with surgery on my ankle keeping me useless for a few days, I usually try to comment on all threads if they're sitting too idle :)

Although if I understood the post, it seems this is a build someone else did for you, so maybe that's why not as much interest. No fault of yours, but this forum tends to be focused on the builds the members themselves have done, Not a big deal either way though.

Hope you love it as much as I love my tweedle dee deluxe :)

Thanks for the reply's guys..
Am loving the amp ... getting quite good cleans out of it ( if and when required) .by careful use of the Guitar vol . and the EVM no doubt helps ..
takes all sorts of pedals really nicely.
Its running on 6L6's with a variable pot between 1w and 20w and a 12AY7 in V1
i have an original 1967 BF super Reverb that isn't getting much of a look in at the moment.
quite a few guitars being used SRV strat , KWS strat , John Mayer strat copy , a home made strat from a blues Guitarist called Jesse Davey, a Les Paul 2012 Tribute with p90's a Vintage brand V100 PGM, V100 AFD and an SG Copy ..
ZILLA Cab is a 1 x12 large ported mode sizes:l 590x460x300.

Thanks for the rig rundown. Always interesting to see how others are chasing tone. The EVM seems to make a monster out of whatever it is paired with.
