Great stuff! Thanks for sharing!
Tell me, how do you like the effects loop? Does it play well with pedals and rack gear alike? I usually run a delay pedal in the loop.
Cheers!

Cool, thanks! Hey, also, were you using the Takmans throughout or in specific locations?
Cheers!

Here is layout I did, it is checked few times. It would be great if someone could take look at it. Layout is missing fuse connections and PT primary connections..

Hi, it's my first post here. Thanks to the posts here, After some struggles I almost finished RK100 clone.
It's the first time amp building for me. I added several switches and you can see ugly wirings, haha...
I have a real mk50hII, and this clone also sounds very good.
It was so fun. I'm thinking the next build, It seems there will be less time for guitar practice...

Awesome build, man those relays would mess me all up.

I'm sorry for late reply. I didn't notice your posts.

Thanks for the comment. No, it's just standard pots and relays.
What I modded this amp are switching between MK50 and RK100 mode. The two constructions are similar.
The important differences I consider are
1. output coupling cap and gain voltage divider value after 1st gain stage.
mk50: 4n7 and 100k and 250k boost pot
rk100: 2n2, 470k, 500k tandem pot.
(I didn't used rk100 style tandem gain pot, but mk50 style each gain and boost pot.)
2. after 2nd gain stage
mk50: 470p/680K treble peaker and 1M gain pot
rk100: 470p/470k treble peaker and 500k tandem gain pot + 100k resistor to ground.
3. only rk100 has cathode follower stage 220p plate bypass cap.
4. tone stack
mk50: 220p+100k treble and 1n hi cut cap
rk100: 330p treble
5. mk50 has 4n7/1M resonance control while rk100 is 4n7/100k fixed resonance.
And relays are in order to bypass 2nd gain stage and 3rd gain stage. I intended to work like plexi and jcm800 mode, but this amp sounds best when all gain stages engaged, I think.
I built based on brejna's layout. Thank you for sharing!

Hey mate, sorry for late reply. Somehow I missed your post. Nice build. So we can call this layout verified?
