In regards to the effect that it has on the tone:
I find that the tone is a little fuller or rounder sounding on the clean channel with the LNFB engaged. This is just my interpretation others may differ. I prefer having it engaged but its great to have it on the switch. Something to also consider is the Two Rock John Mayor Signature Reverb that M. Fowler mentioned, that is also an amazing sounding amp! When I built that amp I sold my 124 dumble because the clean channel is so amazing on this amp.
