I was trying to measure a difference in DC sine waive before and after the choke. However, when I put my oscilloscope probe on the first or scond node of the power supply and the signal is so strong that I can not see it on my screen. What can I change in my settings in order to see the signal wave?

Select AC coupling for the vertical input.

It worked! Thank you. On the node 1 the sine wave was huge, after the choke, node 2 - the wave was barely seen, node 3 - straight line - nice.

Another question. I decided to see if my bias on my 5C1 amp, single ended, one 6V6 output tube, is balanced and either top or bottom part of the waive not clipping. When I connected my probe to the pin 3 (plate) of 6V6 the wave was so big that it would not fit on my screen. it happens when my volume is all the way up. I tried all the knobs on my scope - still too big. Should I use Cathode pin instead? is there a setting I can adjust?

Probably gonna need a X10 probe for that check.
