In My 6v6 'overdrive rocket' as i call it,I am currently using a pair of greenbacks. They sound absolutley divine!I tried an EV 12 inch and it was more transparent but lacked the midrange detail the greenbacks have.I tried a Celestion GT75 and YUCH!
I have a Mojotone Greyhound I'll try this week. They are a great speaker.

Has anybody tried the celestion G12 blue or the G12 gold. I've tried the EV12L ,RWB and 12 65 The EV single was not for me the RWB a pair was OK the 12 16 single sounds so good but wanting to try maybe a gold with the 12 65.

If we are talking about staying with a 6V6 22 watter, I had a Cannabis Rex in a 22 watt D'Lite combo at one time. It sounded pretty damn nice. Kind of rock and roll-ish. Probably too early clean breakup and not so good for a 6L6 - 44 watter, though. Nice, even tone though not very bright. Nice creamy OD tone. Depends what you are after. Not at all pricey to try.
