dariez75, welcome to The Amp Garage. I am pleased that the guys overseas will have a European based chassis builder. I sell a lot of chassis to those guys but it's terribly expensive to ship them and if there is a problem it's usually a big pain... it will be a good thing for them to have a local option.

Hopefully you are not here just to promote your chassis offerings, I also hope you'll be adding some input to the collection of amp knowledge that is freely shared here. I know you guys have some great old Marconi tubes and electronics available and I'm sure there are a few things we could learn from that side of the world.

Please post when you have cabs and chassis ready to go, I'm definitely interested. IMO you should offer finished and unfinished cabs - DIYers are cheap by definition. If you can add Pacific and/or Heyboer Transformer sets you might have a nice niche locked up in Eurolandia - 500 million potential TW builders! Turret board sets would be nice too while we are at it. Grazie mille!

I've been using InMadOut transformers from Italy and they're great.

My friend has just built an express with transformers they made for him, sounds amazing too.

They've just built me some custom transformers/choke for my bluesmaster 100w

So far there's been no word out there on the web on their quality/sound but I've been curious, especially on how exact their clone stuff is given the modest cost. Italy's a pretty desperate place right now so it's possible they'll work on really tight margins just to work. Ural-Tone now carries their stock line-up which is a good sign.

Did they do a custom one-off for you? How does the physical quality look?

Maybe dariez75 can get InMadOut to do some TW sets? Send them some USA Pacific or real Stancor iron to blueprint. Be nice to have an all EU alternative to avoid delays, exchange rates, shipping, heinous 22% VAT.

I'm a proud owner and user of inmadout transformer, they sound great, very great! I've used them to build a sir #36 clone (Marshall 1959 transformers set) this is the link http://youtu.be/bdTPyOmkFHE
The only thing they have to improve is the external design

For my TW clone I used classic tone set, cheap and fast. A friend of mine placed an order to mercury Magnetics for a TW set. Very expensive but I eager to to do a comparative sound test about these two sets.

These are my classic tone set. As you can see inmadout look very different. Inmadout are my favorite Italian transformers but IMHO they have to change trafos bell in order to achieve the original shape of transformers they want to reproduce
