Will the South African world ever be the same - 2 Wreck clones could change the rock and roll scene down there substantially!

I am curious how She compares with her half sister over there - how similar and how different are they? Your parts packages were essentially identical with the exception of your amp having the MM tranny set and SF's having the Pacific tranny set.

That is indeed a beauty... and a rare beast for sure. If you wanted to move one more step toward authenticity you'd have to find somebody over there with a "Dymo Embossing Machine" to finish off the labels on the back. I never really embraced them but I have warmed to them a bit more once I grew to respect the amps themselves. If those are wanted and unobtainable, lemme know.

I am quite hopeful that you'll get us some sound clips of her??

Great job and thanks for all the kind words... keep us up to date!

rj,
I am one step ahead of you, the dynamo strip labelling is being done as we speak  I will be taking her back to her "half sister" in a couple of weeks and will do some comparisons. The sound clips might take a while.l I am not equiped to do recording (as yet).
Thanks again for all your help. You are de man!! 8)

Here is a clip. Months later!! Guitar straight in, no effects. Excuse sloppy playing, delibrately trying not to "overplay". Attempting to demonstrate the clean to mean thing with just pick attack. VVR set at 11 and the rest set at 12. Played through Fender 2x12 closed cab and guitar is a 30 year old Charvel TE CUSTOM. Recorded with iPhone.
