6aq5 to el84 converter

I went ahead and whipped up a pair of these and put 6aq5's in the jca22h and

it sounds much better to me. Its still pretty freaking loud for such wee tubes.

I guess will see if they get holes drilled in glass as some foretold.

Just out of curiousity, what did you reset the bias to? I haven't built one with fixed bias, just cathode bias models. Thanks.
