This one sounds great, is endlessly tweakable, and is fun to build when you "just gotta have a solder fix"...

My twin brother lives in C Springs, and has so many pedals his wife calls them "rat turds." But he's go better sense than to pay any where near that kind of price for a pedal. The really sad part is the seller may well get it.

CL and fleabay rely on the greater fool theory of commerce. And they're both chugging right along.

I have a Gold and a Silver original and this new Klone
is every bit as good same diodes as the original.

Hard to believe anyone spends stupid money for a diode clipper. The only distorto boxes I've ever liked used overdriven discrete devices, preferably FET's. I prefer to get distortion from the amp, either from over driving the front end with a clean boost, or for the last several years by using a 5879 in the hot channel. I guess i'm just old school, and dislike ratty distortion with no headroom, or i'm just old.

I got the Archer Klone and it is a really well built unit and great sounding.

Just paid for a KLON KTR. I've been on a waiting list for a long time.
will see how it compares with the originals.
