He may not be the greatest bluesman right now but he just turned sixteen on January 19.

I bought a pair of shoes from a drug dealer the other day. I dunno what he laced them with but I’ve been tripping all day,

Zappa for sure - the guy was bloody Amazing!

But in my book the Most underrated guitarist is Johnny Winter. This man nailed blues to the wall and could rock the house down.

Speaking of whom, Floyd Radford was excellent too as well as Rick Derringer of course.

I know its been said but I'll say it again . Roy Buchanan . I just found out he's from the Ozarks. I watched the pbs thing on him again the other day.
The best part was when Robbie Robertson talked about Roy being brought in on a session and he's like oh yea I'm gonna show this guy what's up. He said just watching him tune up was terrifying like Bruce Lee swinging his nunchucks around .

Jimmy Thackery
Johnny Winter....Someone already mentioned him
Buddy Whittington of John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers.. You should watch the John Mayall 70th birthday video and watch the expression on Clapton's face when he hears Buddy Whittington play.. Priceless !!

I just watched that special on Buchanan. I quite enjoyed it.

I notice no one has mentioned Marc Ford yet, and I think he ought to be:
