Just gotta mention that there is no Czechoslovakia. You don't want to make the faux pas when there. Not good form. Czechoslovakia was the state under Russian communist rule. The 1989 revolution established Czech Republic and Slovakia as separate countries.

Yes you'll def want to have a fresh Guinness or three in Dublin - it's like drinking freshly baked bread.
As vibratoking mentioned, Slovakia is its own country now, and even more of a steal for the tourist. Lotta good suds over there too. Back in Czechland, it would be a hit to sample the Pilsner in Pils, and original Budweiser in Budweis.
No trouble catching a smoke in Amsterdam, the Bulldog & Milkweg still cater to tourists. Mostly they don't want people stumbling thru the streets while zonked. Smaller cafe's on the side streets have all sorts of goodies, just be discreet. Ask for the Special Dessert menu; if you look cool enough the bartender or waiter may offer one without asking.

Re: Europe trip!
Hi,
pints of Guinness in Dublin are highly recommended
Mulligans on Poolbeg St.
3 is just a taste. 8 is a good feed of pints!
Ireland is a hard place in the winter.
In summertime the country is just overflowing with beautiful girls from all over Europe.
Take care....

If you're heading to Europe for beer the Kulminator in Antwerp, Belgium is a must stop. It's one of the top beer bars in the world with a "menu" that looks like a phone book. It's not a very big place but the beer is amazing. Beer Advocate gave it a score of 100 and those guys hate everything.

If you're going east you may want to check out Krakow. Watch out for the Zywiec Porter. That stuff packs a wallop.
Have a great time. I'm jealous. Europe is a beautiful place to be.
