Re: HRM Board
I pulled the images because the some of the trimmers work in reverse I never got around to changing it. Other than that it works fine.

Re: HRM Board
Is this to scale?? Do you have exact board measurements from your build? I need to be able to get as close as humanly possible w/o going over the top hi tech, it`ll b a simple sharpie affair..THANK YOU MAN!ic-racer wrote:I pulled the images because the some of the trimmers work in reverse I never got around to changing it. Re: HRM Board
When I originally drew it I used the exact trimmer dimensions from the BI Technologies PDF datasheet. However after posting it on the internet, I can't say the size of the file is still correct.groovtubin wrote: Is this to scale?? Do you have exact board measurements from your build? Also, I noticed different interpretations of the main eyelet board size. So, when I got my chassis, the holes for the main eyelet board were different than my board, so I re-did the eyelet board and then lengthened the HRM trimmer board so it correctly fit on top.
I'd recommend bringing that image into your software and size it to your main eyelet board so that the eyelets from this trimmer line up right over the eyelets on your board. Then double check the holes for the BI trimmer are correct.

HRM board dimension
Ice man, can you share the dimension of the board? Thank you!ic-racer wrote:When I originally drew it I used the exact trimmer dimensions from the BI Technologies PDF datasheet. Re: HRM board dimension
Sorry for the delay, and now I remember again why my correct-size HRM board is not posted here, I forgot how difficult it is to get the file. I drew up that board in 2008. Since then I got a new iMac which does not run any of the old software or recongnize any files from the old system. The application (AldusFreehand) has been destroyed by the industry and there is no version to run on any new computer.groovtubin wrote:Ice man, can you share the dimension of the board? Thank you!

Anyway this is the best I could do by doing an encapsulated post script export.

So, after all that work, it seems the size of the board on the original file is 5.5" by 2.25" which seems too big. I suspect I drew it up at double size, then printed it at 50% to make the etching.

						Re: HRM Board
I quickly traced out IC's last posted image and whipped up the attached.
The overall board size looks to be something like 2.64" X 1.49". I used the trimmer outline as my reference (.375" X .375").
The mirrored image could be used for the "sharpie approach" by taping a cutout onto the copper side with the inked side facing out and carefully prick-punching around the outline of each shape. When removed, connect the prick-dots and fill in the shapes. Never done it before...but...might be worth a shot?
The non-mirrored side ought to be good to go with traditional toner transfer and UV approaches.
Please have a look to make sure that I didn't overlook any holes and let me know if any tweaking is required.
Good luck,
Dave O.
