Tardis

Building a Marshallish amp in a 17x8x2 chassis with a beautiful house - thanks to ampmike.
Need a pt for this bad boy, methinks 290-0-290 or thereabouts.
The mods to the 2204ish circuit are as discussed here already. Back to back zener warbler & a Martinizer.
If I get the ok I'll post the diagram when I'm happy with the sound.
So named to respect the guy who did the r&d. It'll be reel loud if you know what I mean.
This one might take a while.

Well, that's a wolf in a honey badger's clothing. Very pretty, but with teeth!
I build and repair tube amps. http://amps.monkeymatic.com

Yup - Honey Badger is homeless for now.
She may go in a white cab & get sold.
Tardis is for me.
Prolly.

Is it bigger on the inside? Will it be housed in a blue box?

Hi Bob,

How is your progress with this build? Are you going with DC heaters? What PT did you end up with?

Cheers,

Greg

Nice build Bob.

First time I can see it all online.. I am so happy I could cry!
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

Update.
Wired (I think).
Hammond 270HX PT. She should have around 380 B+.
Moose TW 11415-2 OT 6k6 (I know)
Hopefully no smoke when I fire her up.
More later.
