Been a while since I last posted here, but I haven't built anything Dumble-related since my HRM - until now that is
I just finished my C-Lator late last night, and while it seems to funktion OK, the indicator / pilot light doesn't light up! Any ideas what could be the cause?
Also, it anyone's got a list of voltages to double check against, that would be very much appreciated!
Was the polarity after all... I thought I checked 3 times before soldering up, but I just swapped the wires, and now the LED lights up!
Thanks for the voltage chart - I'll check that out at the weekend!
Where do you guys "keep" yours? It's not practical balancing it on top of the handle on the head... I was thinking of building a cab for it, and sandwiching it between head and cab, but if there's an easier way...
Nice rig. Yeah put it in a small rack enclosure or one that looks like a Dumble head. Taylor Cox Amplified Nation builds them or Anthony at Stagecraft is building rack enclosures.
I have a Ceriatone BM HRM 100w with EVM12L 212 cab and home made D'lator on top waiting to go in an enclosure too. Guitars are just cheap Squire blonde teles with reworked necks and one changed to single pup.

Some guys build them in the chassis for that reason. Not much help to you at this point.
Other guys modify the head cab so that the rack unit can be inserted and mounted at the bottom of the cab itself. I like that option. Sorry, I don't have any pics, but I have seen them on here somewhere.
