Sold this amp on Saturday to a Minneapolis guitarist and he is loving it.

He uses a hot plate for gigging and pedals sound great through this amp.

This amp was built using 20" aluminum chassis such as sold by Turretboards.com. Cab is Weber.

6k OT by Classic Tone 40-18088 2/4/8R secondaries.

JTM 45 PT but next one I'm using Mojotone 300-0-300 JTM45 low powered PT

I'm going to use 1 JJ main can cap on next one just to make it easier on me.
The rest of the filter caps I'll put on the tone board.

Look like he's got a monster grab-n-go amp 8)
Still running the 12au7 and at7 tubes?

I was looking at this MC iron

No they are all 12AX7 now.

Yeah but about half the price that 40-18088 kicks ass.

Thanks Mark
that OT is a good price
the 40-18095 I was looking at is a standup (no cutout)PT with 345V, 325Vand 280V taps
for about the same as the Mojo 300V low power JTM

The owner emailed and asked if he could do some tube rolling since the amp is so loud and maybe less gainy tube will help, I said I already did that and that is a great way to get the amp to fit your needs

I did tell him he needs to ride that guitar volume pot a lot more often.

He is loving it and the guitarist in crowds are coming up to the stage and asking questions about the amp, I hope they all call me. :)

I think I might just have to get combo cabs/chassis kits from rjguitars and get the word out. :)

Sounds like a great idea, can't wait to finish mine. Have you started the second one yet? :)

I have a cab, chassis, faceplate, boards and transformers in stock but haven't started on build yet.

I have the mini cage amp to finish, almost there and just got a choke for my 200w bass build. Fixed a Carvin Club Master 212 100w and Traynor VC-30 212 combo so I've been busy.

Excellent work Mark. Who's the player, band, and what/where's the venue?

Thanks guys, some Tag guys have been asking for sound bytes and I finally got something at least.

The band is Junk FM, guitarist is Jeff Rutland, they are from Minneapolis area and play in a Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota circuit.
