Martin, is there an alternative to the 16R 300 watt power resistor? Could you use a 100watt 25R with adjustable lugs and accomplish the same thing? Those 300w jobs arent cheap

Sorry, I didn't see this question until earlier today. No alternates for the Ohmite 300W that I know of. For the 100W 25R, if you only use part of the resistor the wattage rating may be reduced. No cheaper but better is two 8R non-adjustable 300W Ohmites.
