I wonder how much they charge for the privilege of leaving the show early?

I dunno what the connection is, but Gary Brooker and Peter Frampton were in the same edition of Ringo's All-Starr Band late 90's. That would have been good to see. I hear they did a smokin' version of "Whisky Train."
It was Robin Trower on those first 5 Procol albums. Tone. To. Die. For. No swooshy effects like he got into later. Just awesome straighforward gutsy tone. Still touring @ 70 y/o too and no rust on those fingers. See him if you can. While you still can.

Whiskey Train...love that song. Too often overlooked. Learned that song in the early stages. I can remember dropping the needle and playing along to that stoned in my bedroom in my parents house. Just a stoned hippy kid. Great guitar work on that one.
Saw the Stones in Phoenix 2006 and during one song Mick had to circle around over to the keyboard player and Ronnie to breakup their discussion because Ronnie was suppose to be playing his lead run at that time.
Saw Trower on an early PH tour in the late 60's...awesome!
And just got tickets to see him in a local venue that holds only 250 people...
Yeh just missed him by a couple months when I saw a helluva triple bill at NY Academy of Music 11-25-71. Dave Ball had learned the songs by then, a week before they'd recorded with Edmonton Symphony, and they closed the show by playing "every song we know" 'til about 2:30 AM. But it wasn't Robin... DID get to work the '94 Frampton tour with Trower as opener. None of the PH songs but still a fantastic guitarist. A talent and a gentleman. And that goes for the rest of the band too.
