Wow, that does sound like shit. I can't tell which is the major contributor...the tuning of the guitar, the intonation, or the just plain shitty tone.

Good one Tony hope all is well.
I tuned my 150-SSS to this video.
It took a few resistor and capacitor changes.
dropped the preamp voltages down to 150vdc V-1 & V-2

I would Shure like to build John's new amp for my Bass player.

Have fun.

You'll see the Dumbleland at 7:07 and 7:14 in the middle of the three amps sitting on two of his cabinets just as shown on the pictures in the first post of this thread.

If you should be interested you'll find many more videos of this 2014 Budokan show in Tokyo. Just one more example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l46Fzz5vhWI

Have fun!

Sorry to dig an older thread, but has anyone had any first hand experience with this "hallowed" amp?

Either playing it, or knowing what's going on inside the amp?

Long shot I know but seeing if anyone's been inside this specific dumbleland or any other dumbleland and has specific info on them in how they differ from the SSS sort of amps.
