This 6G6 was dropped off by the original owner last week for service. It has the wrong chart with the wrong tube layout. So I can verify that they do exist. The circuit is closest to the 6G6-A but is the earlier tube-rectified 6G6 with slight tagboard and component variation. The chart is a 5F6-A... No foul play here. Great sounding amp BTW!

Many non-original parts there.
Who expects honesty from an Ebay seller anyway?
The place defines caveat emptor.

"You think Fender could be 18-20 months off-base
with tube-chart inaccuracy?"
My '71 SFDR has an "AB763" tube chart. That's about 3 years off considering AB763s ended in mid 1968 for the DR.
I was not aware that they used combo charts in heads at times. Or is that just assumed?

If it says "Vintage" on it, -it isn't.

I have a 1966 Blackface Bassman head with an AA165 label inside. But it is actually the AB165 circuit. Or it was. Now it's a hybrid AA864 / AB165.
