I must be lucky cuz I've been using the same old 3/32" bit for many boards (mostly G10) and never had a problem drilling properly sized clean holes with my $20 POS Chinese benchtop drill. I often use the same bit for drilling pilot holes in aluminum as well. Go figure.
3/32"= ~94 mil

I'm assuming circuit boards refers to PCB's here so my PCB pads are usually 75mil or smaller, the drill size appropriate for most component i use on pcb's is a #70 or 71 (26 mil carbide bit) not quite as robust as 3/32", the little ones are extremely fragile.
