Thanks zippy, I paypaled maybe i can get it reversed. might even do a search on the matter, id thought they were a big company, should have known when they offer to sell amp design downloads for 5$, but i really did want those 7 pin tube sockets to build some 6aq5 amps, If anyone has there phone # i'd like to leave a voicemail mark

Use the search function for "Torres" or "Torres Engineering". Interesting results are yeilded.

eBay for 7 pin sockets. Here are some nice ones at a reasonable price.

At tubesandmore.com

Best deal is at Apex Jr. 35 cents each for old school phenolic, but you'll have to figure in the shipping.

Good luck talking to him. I dealt with him face to face and still got blown off. I traded him a Super Reverb for one of his "custom" pieces of crap, "Texas Special". The cabinet fell apart shortly after delivery and then the amp went fizzy and had a following harmonic (bad power supply). He couldn't/wouldn't fix it nor would he refund my purchase nor return my trade-in. I took a bath on it in resale.

Garbage is as garbage does.

I used to talk to Dan Torres years ago and he was friendly but the amp he modded for me a Super Reverb to Super Texan sounded like crap and he insisted I tried different tubes. Funny because at first he said he really like my NOS tubes I was using.

Total waste of time and crappy sounding amps.

I've purchased small parts from from him before and the time from payment to receiving was not all that swift. Really, you need to ask him that question.
