So???? What do you tell her? This is a constant question around my house. Not always about soldering but about life. I think I was born for conflict..stelligan wrote: If I had one complaint - it is that I have become so obsessed that my wife has been asking "So, are you gonna solder tonight, or can we do somethin'?"

Feedback Generator for all amps
I've found that my Les Paul just doesn't feedback easy unless everything is cranked... I can't always do that so I'm interested in various ideas to generate feedback at lower volume levels. I have to admit, I haven't tried the feedback generator listed on the website below, but it looks intriguing...

In another twist in engineering an amp... Doesn't it seem reasonable that you could feed a piece of the signal back into a previous spot in the signal chain and get feedback... I have succeeded at producing uncontrollable feedback by doing this accidentally. If a person was more strategic could you not send just the right amount of signal back to the right spot and get usable feedback?
Has anybody experimented with his?

Making a stage feedback gain close to unity will guarantee feedback. OP amp gain equations here will help illustrate and understand how this is done.... Doesn't it seem reasonable that you could feed a piece of the signal back into a previous spot in the signal chain and get feedback...
