My guess - Bottom one is treble, right one is bass, upper left one is mid.

Looking at the ts from the front (control side) of the amp, the bass trimmer sits alone on the left, while the mid and treble are stacked on the right side, with the mid closest to the center of the board (near the tail resistor if it is present), while the treble is near the front edge of the board.

Personally, I want to know his blue goop formula, it looks wicked cool and is definately the biggest kept secret of all. Gives the amp a fresh summery look.
The dog shite formula was a little too wet English Sunday afternoon for my tastes.

I make a concrete cast for the entire board and sprinkle it with holy water while reciting an ancient pagan poem just before I put the chassis in the cabinet.
The other secret is only to buy resistors from Radio Shack between 9 and 9.15 on the second Thusday in the month.
The final secret is to put it all in a cab designed to concentrate 90% of the latent heat in the back left corner so the player will never want to switch it off (for fear of burning themselves on the power switch that after an hour of hard playing feels like it's located at the center of the sun).

I am reading those values as:
bass= 12
treble = 10 or 5
Mid = 9:30 or 3:30
in clock terms

I am thinking that it looks like the length of the cross is a bit longer on one side which makes me think that points to the value, in which case the lower values on the treble and mid trimmer would be correct. Anyone familiar with this type trimmer?

Dang, he ended early, but I somewhat suspected that... Ebay can be abused too easily for collectable items as more of an advertising space. Though knowing that sellers wanted around 30-40K for an ODS last year, it probably went up to 50-60K, maybe 70K like someone else on the board said for this year...

I merely passed along that this seller wanted $75K. That is why he ended the auction. My friend spoke to him on the phone. He is smoking crack IMHO.

Ya I know. But these have been going up in price close to 30%-50% recently. Not so long ago you could have bought one for under 10K...IF you could find one back then also!!

Could someone explain the relevance of this........what is the end result to be ? Carlton....Ford ?? Doubtful that those settings are where Dumble left them anyway, everyone plays with them, one of the reasons I no longer use that idea.

Making notes of the trimmer settings on one amp is like using the position of the tuner pegs on a poster of a guitar hero to tune your guitar.
They are all different in each amp. Even just 5 degrees of movement on some of the trimmer positions can have real dramatic effects. Don't waste your time. These amps are tuned with your ears, not your eyes. Set the trimmers to what YOU like, who gives a crap how any other amp has them set, it's not yours at the end of the day.
