Guys,

Being a blues based dude and a hack, I did a little utubin looking for something different. IF any of you guys are into finger style or jazz, check this site out. IT is a total mess and a bitch to navigate, but each song has it's own zip file with software midi program that you download and can play at very slooooww speeds (you have to click the box next to slow when it is stopped and clicking the slow button will allow you to select the speed). It seems to be fairly cool - for the finger style crowd and a real labor of love by the developer. Check it out.

Totally cool!! Just listening.

Love chordal melody. I am a huge Joe Pass fan. I even sat with him for lessons back before I understood that he was the only one who really did it so effortlessly. I thought there was a whole world of people I never met who could just slide around to happiness, and then I grew up.

Yeah, I wish there was a site like this when I was a kid in rural Illinois, or even the internet hehe. Hell in the 70's if it was not on am radio then it did not exist in our world. In the 80's I read of Joe Pass, but was not exposed to his music or his fantastic chordal melodies. One thing is for sure, my brain and fingers are not wired for that....
