Perhaps we're becoming worker ant collectives? :D

I've always been fascinated by evolutionary pressures vs human intellect. Somehow we trumped evolution/natural selection by using intellect to more quickly adapt to changes.

The big question becomes, if we somehow lose the safety net of society, how many of us would survive?
