Those guys are fantastic. They're from Spartanburg, SC, which is just a town over from where I grew up.

I thought They were from the Muscle shoals area.And got started in Athens wich I guess is pretty close to SC

Yeah! John Neff Jr. and Sr are friends of mine. John is a great steel player, and his dad is a great guy to argue with about everything.

I think the first song I heard by em was sinkhole.A song about killin a banker that foreclosed on the family farm.Don't get much better than that

Was in a band about a year ago that liked to play them I'd never heard of them until then, they are good , Everyone seemed to like the songs we did.

I grew up in Greenville, SC. If you head NW up to the mountains, you're in the land of dirt track racing. People have bumper stickers that read "Dirt's for racing. Pavement's for getting there."

A friend of mine in high school, his dad owned an auto parts store. Everyone in those days fixed their own cars. Everyone would head to his house on the weekend, because his dad had all the tools, and we'd work on our cars. Heck, one of my friends even had nitrous in his VW bug.

Anyway, this song just sort of captured the essence of that era for me.

What a cool car guess I've never seen one of those.

Dirt track is huge here too.We have the show me 100 here and10 thousands of people come for it.
