Sounds like I am the only one on TAG with a sad story.
When I initially shipped the amp at my local PO, the guy behind the counter told me that it is pretty common for parcels to disappear when shipped to Canada. I didn't think much about it until it actually happened.
I have heard that postal employees in many foreign countries are notoriously corrupt, but I would never guess that to be the case with Canada. Still, it made me wonder when the USPO guy told me "good luck on that making it to Canada".
