Used to make Dynaco transformers.

That would require a very steep learning curve for me.

You could tell her the machine serves double-duty: By replacing the spools of magnet wire with colored thread, you can make your own textiles!

Other than a rebuild and service what else is needed to make this operational? I.e. working transformers.

That's not gonna work, not in my house anyway. More likely it will get me a bedroll in the dog house....move on over.
