Google Chrome, Even Better Comodo Dragon Chrome

Post by Structo »

I really like Chrome a lot.
At least until the last update I did.

After the update I noticed my scrollbars on the right and bottom are missing.
Especially on webpages.
That's that tab thingy on the right side that you can grab with your mouse and move it up or down.

I have scoured the web looking for answers and it seems that for some, this problem goes way back.

Sure I can still scroll with my mouse wheel, but when you want to glance to see where you are on a page, like how far down on the page you are there is no clue.

Today I was looking around and found Comodo Dragon.
A third party Chrome browser.
Since Chrome is open sourced software anybody can take it and manipulate the code.

Well let me tell you not only does Comodo Dragon have more security measures in it, it's much faster at loading pages, plus I have my scrollbars back.

So if you are interested check it out.
I like it a lot.

Plus you can use any of the extensions made for Chrome.

I like Click & Clean, Magic Actions for YouTube, Cookies, AdBlock to name a few.

Very cool Tom. I will have to check this out. I've been using Mozilla for awhile now and don't get any benefits that I know of

Yeah, I'm digging it.

One of the things I read about it is they it uses different DNS servers which helps it load pages faster.

Here is a good YouTube to mp3 converter.

It puts the convert button on the bottom left of the YouTube window.

You can choose Normal quality or High quality mp3.

Found another cool thing.

If you are using a router, go into the settings and change the DNS Server addresses to what this website says.

This is safer & faster internet experience.

If you don't have a router then choose the PC instructions.
