So I had three antique radio 5F1 Champ conversions for sale, and a couple of my Cygnus amps.
No one wants to spend money so I'm getting all kinds of tubes in for credit from them.
Fine, that will work.
But, "Can you fix my SS (MIC) amp?
Can you wire a pickguard for me?
Can you build a custom amp for me"?
The "custom amp" one always gets me.
By the time they are done describing all the bells and whistles, and I quote a price, they are shocked.
Then I tell them there are a zillion of them out there, and I wouldn't build it anyways.
I AM building custom amps...just to my own tweaks!
