Oh no! His mistake was inspiration.

Is it because his ad contains the words "Trainwreck" and "Liverpool"? It's pretty clear that it's not being sold as their brand.

I don't think they will. He says the amp is NOT a clone and is true, this one has a rectifier. Also the word "inspired" is there and is clear.

But the word Trainwreck is a trademark infringement.and he is using it to sell his design. I will be surprised if ebay lets it go the distance when the fischers call him on it.

Impossible to predict what eBay will or will not do, but it looks like fair use. Probably should have added words to the effect that he is not affiliated with nor endorsed by Trainwreck Circuits.

It appears he had some trouble with spacing for the cap stack.

Should the laminations on the PT look like that?

.....it is as if the edge was welded....?

Nice looking build but at the end of the day he just might get his material costs back.Thats just the nature of the beast. If all he said is on the money I think thats a good price. Its just too bad you cant get more like 2k.To get a TW from JM I think they are 5k and quite a wait.So this amp would give people a chance to see if they like the hole TW world.Wish him the best,Mikey
