Help needed with Express

I finish my Express clone some time ago.
Amp sounded all right, but something was not right. I have fixed lead dress and resolder some places.

The broblem is playing with strat. Amp setting is all 12o´clock. When I play with neck pickup low E string sounds very bassy and like two note ringing out of tune. This will go away when lower the amp volume. Other problem is high E and B strings, when you pick em comes first sizzling sound and then it rings normally.

With Les paul there is no problem, maybe the higest notes occurs little unwanted high frequence sizzle, but thats no big deal.

This maybe guitar problem. Strat is way moore brighter than LS.

All voltages is all right. Component values are all right.

Is it a lead dress that is the deal here?

This sounds more like a guitar problem. On the strat, raise the strings a little bit and lower the pickups.

What you are describing sounds like Stratitis... you need to lower your neck pickup... here's a link describing what's going on:
