what is the alternate to 6ps polyester caps for tone???

anyone tried these? It might be good to know what works besides the PS ones. I use xicon MPP in some positions but not tried them throughout the amp.

Yes I tried them; the CDE DME series are more smooth than the Xicon Mpp series. Compared to a 6PS cap they have more high content. I used them in a HRM with mostly DME's and a few 6PS. Came out very well.

It seems that in contrast to CDE DME they are also non-metallized PS caps like the 6PS series. Seems the size is also pretty much the same as the PS.
Mouser just doesn't stock all values. Interestingly the 100n is about 20x more expensive than the 47n.....

Sorry. I would probably include some for testing purposes with a future order at Mouser.
