Brilliant. I wonder if he did that to all the amps he shipped?

A recent BBC documentary about Vox amps mentioned that they threw an amp down the stairs too.

That's nothing, Peter Traynor (the man who first put the Master volume into Guitar amps) used to throw his amps out of the second floor window of Long & McQuade to test his amps. He would retube, switch it on and if it worked then it passed.
