I am sure he can help you tons as he has all kinds of amps including a few Dumble clones. He stops by around here sometimes, but not very often, he is one of the forum administrators over there.
Hope this helps.

don't want to be rude in any way with nobody, but this guy is asking for infos he doesn't know. And as he said it's not that easy to get good infos.
So if he's still reading us, I would like to tell him a few things.
1) the dumble sound is not only a matter of amp, guitars speakers, but more than ever is a way of playing your guitar. I mean, dumble are great amps if you a very dynamic use of your right hand. If you are accustomed to play a marshall in a hard way, you'll probably will not get a big satisfaction from a dumble.
2) You have chances to try a ceriatone amps probably, because you can source a local distributor in your area ( at least as far as I can remember). Honestly they are a bargain at their price ( i build amps for a living), but 9 out of 10 are not even close to what a dumble circuitry properly set can do. That's the real point . A good D inspired amp ( no matter which brand is) needs a very delicate set up. Sometimes big changes are related to small changes in values or component brands. That is a matter of experience.
An excellent amp tech can build a D amp, but if he has not made his own experience over that circuitry , there are big chances that he will be not setting the amp in the best way.
3) IMHO Any D style amps calls for very specific loudspeakers. So if you have a cabinet with V30 in it, you'll get few chances of appreciating D style amps. Take this into account when thinking about your investment.
It's a sort of troublesome travel, but if you are able to walk this road it's quite difficult to leave it.

Re: Two Rock/Dumble schematics
There is quite a number european amp builders that can deliver the goods. Don't forget that amps imported to EU must comply with EU electrical safety norms and environment protection laws. (ROHS, WEEE etc). This rules out a lot of non-EU made gear.

I heard a very nice clip of Ceriatones SSS. Can't wait for the schematic to be posted over there.alvarezh wrote:Hi Bobsyouruncle, there is a fellow countryman of yours over at the Ceriatone forum that goes by the name of mcinku, here is a link to his profile:

And thanks everybody for joining in on this, and making me look stupid, but that's ok, there are always new things to learn about. But you were all quite helpful, so thanks for the info. And if my hands prove to be as useless as some of you think, I'll come and kiss your feet
Re: Two Rock/Dumble schematics
Listen, i don't kno w nothing about you and your playing . You can be the best guitar player in the world, but since I don't know you, I've tried simply to be clear that a Dumble style amp could be a sort of a miracle for anyone that have a dynamic use of his hands.Bobsyouruncle wrote:Thanks, I'm gonna contact him, that will probably be the best as he is in the same countryalvarezh wrote:Hi Bobsyouruncle, there is a fellow countryman of yours over at the Ceriatone forum that goes by the name of mcinku, here is a link to his profile:

But if you are the best rocker in the world and you are accustomed to smash the strings to get that nasty marshall sound, that kind of style is not probaly well suited to d style amps.
That was my advice. If you take it as an offense it's your problem.

Re: Two Rock/Dumble schematics
I know a thing or two about right hand dynamics, I also play classical guitar, that's why I am uncomfortable with marshall and why I want a D-style guitar
No hard feelings, I was just saying there's no need to guess one's ability to play with just a few words on a forum
Thanks
Bye

The Age of Entitlement.
It's never too late to have a happy childhood.
Italian Dumble maker
Check out Clover Amps in Italy. Looks as if they're a good builder and obviously in the EU which might help with the expense.

I don't think they make a Steel String Singer but I'll bet they could.
