Hello Amp Garage.

This is my first post, So hello Amp garage.

now to my quetion. Im going to build a Trainwreck express inspired amp, with help of a friend who has a degree in electronics (he is also a guitar player), so it will be more he builds and i whatch and learn :)

Anyway, as i dont know that much yet and he have given me the task to investigate what components is the best for the job.

We are going to order the turret board from Nik at ceriatone, but after that we are going noodle around to find other options.

So i will probably have Alot of questions:)

Where can i find the Revised express layout with the "correct" values that i have read about. Is there a Schematic that goes with this?

Use the Kelly revised ver A1b schematic (trainwreck files Fransesca sch) and Nic's layout, those and download all the pictures of Fransesca & use them as a referance for lead dress and component placement. You dont Have to follow the pictures exactly but they will give you an idea of what has worked for others. This is a pretty touchy amp that will do weird things if not layed out corectly. I built one that is layed out very diffrent & it works fine but ive built a lot of amps and have an idea of what will work & what will not. Good luck & let us know how its going.

You would probably be best off using the CT layout and cross referencing each component to the schematic, if you find a difference draw it on the layout. im pretty sure nics layout matches that schematic 99% or better & the differences that are there are marginal.
