Wood finish.

Post by leadfootdriver »

I was searching around, and was thinking about the Minwax Polycrylic. I've read that it doesn't darken over time, and is as durable as regular oil based Polyurethane.

Has anyone used this stuff?

$10 bux for a pint, sheesh... 'Picked some up.

They would only sell water based wood stain by the quart... I have enough for a fleet of cabs..

you can use polycrilic with oil based stain. You just have to let the stain dry for several days.

I use water based poly over oil sealer all the time finishing wood floors. The oil based sealer gives a little color to the wood.

That being said there are much better water polys than polycrylc
