I was just looking at the old version of your layout last night Dave :)

Thanks for posting the cap orientation for all to use.

This does bring up a debate; however, is it not true that the design of the these OD caps would not have an outer foil? I have tested and did not find any significant difference. Also, Ken F. placed all his OD caps in the same direction as shown in the files section photos of TW Francesca.

I've checked all the ones I've used recently (6PS and 225P) and there is a measurable difference, some more thgan others as has been previously reported.

Probably worth re-iterating that I could detect a difference when testing my PVC caps too, where the amount of difference seemed to vary. Maybe this variance is something to do with the value or physical size of the cap?

I had to crank the amp a bit to hear the difference with the method I used.
