Yeah sort of :lol: .. Only because you gave in to all the hype. In most cases it's some what true that Mercy Trans are better, mostly in relation to current production replacement iron for fender and marshalls. However when given the option of buying an OEM part, I question if what Mercy adds is for the better or worse? Since Everything matters in a wreck IMHO I'd try to stick as close to spec as possible.

The other down side of using Mercy Transformers. unless this is going to be your personal never part with it amp. it's pretty hard to get the $ invested in the iron back out of the amp.

Yup I get that but the build is a little different because i am using Atom filter caps and sozo caps in a Liverpool.
