Looks great Mark. :D

I wish I had about ten of those CE chassis. Very nice.

Thanks guys,

This 183 is going to use a custom PT from Heyboer 100w 350-0-350 and plexi OT for the EL34's.

I have another CE chassis that is going to use MC Fender twin PT and OT for a Ford 102 Dumble build. :)

Well the tuning is over on that Dlite it just left my house. The guy was so excited to get it home to hook up to his EVM speaker.

He sounded great through the amp. I better have him test all my amps, funny how different styles of playing can make or break the amp to my ears at least. I better have my ears cleaned.

He left a silvertone 1482 for me to fix, the 6X4 rectifier tube was making funny fireworks when I plugged the amp in:lol:

Mark, what specific tuning did you do to the amp that just left. Can you comment on the tone and feel of the amp.

Cheers Ange

Ange,

The info posted is all that was done to the amp. Scott recommended correcting the presence circuit so I did and Tom talked about adding the 22m resistors and cap to V1 which I never did.

All cathode caps are 4.7uf/25v. Some of the Dlite layouts Normster show a 10uf in some positions mixed with 5uf in other positions. Set the OD trimmer as Tom stated.

I am a bigger fan of Marshalls then Dumbles so to me the tone wasn't for me but this guy played jazz and it fit his style perfect . He wanted an amp that had clean but also able to get dirty. I had him play my TOS as well so I could figure out what that amps needs.
