He probably paid good money for that amp and doesn't like us picking it apart. Fact is this is a bullders forum, we can learn from these pics, component selection etc.

If the amp sounds good I don't see the problem.

What I think is most valuable is the progression of this company, since we've seen gut shots of newer amps.

I didn't feel like hearing or starting a long thread about how poor the craftsmanship is. I'm not personally offended but some people find fault like there is a reward out for it. And it seems rather pointless to post these photos to criticize the obvious.

If you google "Super Rare Two Rock Gut Shots", you'll see one that looks like it was a project testbed and then sold. They've been the subject of internet criticism for their soldering/lead dress craftsmanship here and elsewhere. I didn't want to contribute to that sentiment so I removed the pictures. I'm not personally offended by it, but I have a great deal of respect for these guys. So I just thought it'd be appropriate to just remove the pictures.

So pull the whole thread...
It's two pages of worthless as it is...

So, who copied the pictures before they got pulled down?

Waded through 7 pages of that before losing the will to live

How I see it: post some pics, take it on the chin, cos here we LIKE to see
gut shots, the build IS the thing, and we learn and improve our construction
methods so they stand up to a hard long life.
I post my builds and my sounds, they're not great compared to the masters on here but they're respectable enough for an old geezer like me with sausage fingers and crappy eyes. The good regular people on here know that and respect it too.

It better sound damn good too :)

These days I don't go near TGP. Nearly all I need is here

Sure the Bassman looked a mess but it was interesting, like the prototype on TGP, but as Tom said there, would it pass UL/CE?
CE, now there's a thing :x
