I'm not talking about the bias of the stage. I was just commenting that on most non-hrm schematics I've seen the cathode is bypassed with a 4.7 on the last od stage, on the hrm schematics that is bypassed by a 1. HRM vs. non-HRM has nothing to do with high plate/low plate or biasing. I was just saying HRM seem to generally be high plate.
Also the plate is connected to the cathode via the snubber cabs on V2
I thought most of the hrms didn't have the snubber
The bias of that stage will only affect the overdrive characteristics. The hrm cathode resistors I've seen are only a bit closer to saturation then the non.
