My version

Here is how I did my S/P Dlator. I converted a series unit to operate both S & P. Nice and quiet all around and the bypass is a very useful feature as well.

Thank you, very helpfully.
I will compare yours with mine.
But mostly I solved the problem of popping and noise. I´v now only one starground (exept powerboard), shielded and corrected layout of grid cables. So there is no more noise and the switching is close to optimal. Nevertheless I will give it a chance with your layout too. Lets see if there could be something better.
By the way: after testing with Master almost open: great fat sound of Dumble w/Dlator. Rearly a big kick forward, evan with no effect in.

Thank you guys!

Hi,
could somebody explain me whatfor is the 100k before the 0,05 cap?
Its located between this cap and the bypass. Its not in the original schema and Tom writes - if neccessary, or so.

Thank you

Hopefully Claus will answer that since he designed the loop.
I don't recall why that is there.
I just drew the layout.

The 100k resistor at the input is optional.

However, the resistor help avoiding that the amps master volume acts as a high pass filter, if run below 10 0'clock.

If you set the amps master volume at 11-12 o'clock....

(like I do with a 68p cap across wiper and input in order to retain highs in spite for cable runs to/from dumbleator)

....the input resistor is not necessary.

Oh, thank you for the answer.
Because mostley I will be under Master 10 I`ll use the 100k.

Best

Hans-Jörg

Edit: wrong. With Dlator I´m with the Master all the time at 12 :00 and more. But regulating with the Recover Pot. So, the 100k falls.
