May well be a pretty stupid question but is this piece of kit strictly nessercery to use the effects loop :?:

The effects loop in the Dumble tends to saturate pedals very easily. You can use a line level effect fairly well but at high volumes even that will saturate.

I use a TC Nova delay in the loop without the dulator and it works well as long as I don't really crank the amp.

i was hoping to use my TC Nova system as i would with my Traynor custom, i guess its a case of try it and see how well it works :)

Any reason that you can't just use an attenuator on the send?

i may well look at changing the loop to a parallel system sim ilar to the Mesa Nomad i used to use, failing that i am reasonably sure i can use the pre gain on the TC as a limiter of sorts and use the output gain as a makeup, plus the TC has a pretty versatile EQ for tweaking the sound a touch
