{earlier I accidentally posted this question in the wrong forum :oops: }

How exactly do you mount the chassis to fit in the cab securely?

Depends on the amp, but I've done it three or four different ways.
1. Fender style - Drill holes through the bottom of the chassis right next to the end plates about an inch from the front and rear. Run long screws through the cab all the way through the chassis and put a nut on the other side.
2. If the chassis has a big enough lip, install captive nuts.
3. Attach a piece of aluminum angle bracket to each side of the chassis and tap it for screws.
4. Komet style - Weld some big fat aluminum corners into the chassis, drill and tap for screws.
