Re: Ceriaton layout
It's not terrible, but there are better, more accurate layouts posted here.

Re: Ceriaton layout
I think originally the Ceriatone D amps were based on #124 which was disclosed here.

Re: Ceriaton layout
Not sure what the 1977 amp is but there is of course the later generation ODS, HRM, the Bluesmaster, the earlier classic ODS.

Re: Ceriaton layout
Sure, if you follow these values, it should get you in the ballpark.

Re: Ceriaton layout
That depends on what power transformer you end up using.
Ideally you want about 190v on V1, 200v on V2 and 290-300v on V3.
You should adjust your B+ voltages for the proper plate voltages at the tubes by altering the dropping resistors on the filter board.

Re: Ceriaton layout
Isn't the ODS50 layout from Ceriatone very much like a Dumble. If you want to tweak it with different values etc thats another thing.
What board do you all use if not the Ceriatone?

Re: Ceriaton layout
That may be but isn't the Ceriatone very much like a real Dumble.
No Dumbles are 100% the same but are the Ceriatone "wrong" in any way? Seriously, I'm interested. May need a new board for an old Fender I'm thinking of giving a "makeover"

Re: Ceriaton layout
I think it's safe to say Ceriatone layout is very close to the real thing... Nik uses a few different values here and there but you could change those easily if you wish.
